SATE joins a ROUGH TRADE Celebration for KEVAN STAPLES
ROUGH TRADE was a Canadian rock band centred on singer, Carole Pope and multi-instrumentalist, Kevan Staples. Formed in 1975, known for their politically charged and provocative lyrics, theatrical performances and punk-inspired New Wave sound.
In March 2025, the band faced a significant loss with the passing of co-founder Kevan Staples. This celebration is for Kevan and his invaluable contribution not only to the band but to the Canadian music landscape.
